I plan on going out tomorrow to find a few but if it's not like the one in April, I'll be depressed for the weekend. THAT was singularly THE BEST BOTTLE of heaven I've ever had, and I've been fortunate to have some of the good stuff.

Thanks for the write up and heads up.....the thing I loved most about the last one WAS the more tropical aroma. The smell is 90% of it for me.

Be sure to let me know what you think. Hopefully it was a fluke.

Will do. But I really believe no matter how much they say and try to keep it the same, its just not. Otherwise, the 4/20 likely wouldn't have been the best to me but just as good as the others. That said, you could have something about it needing some time. Maybe they fact they want to get it out fast caused them to rush it up too much?

Besides, there's a rumor that this weekend is being used to try the amigo's 3 Hop Juice's so I may not want to ruin my taste buds until I've had the great honor to try these

Just saw a tweet from my local craft beer store and they have it in stock. Going to go for a ride tomorrow and pick up a couple bottles.

Picked up 2 bottles and a four pack of Sierra Nevada Hoptimum today. Can't wait until they are cold.

I have to say that after ENJOY BY and Palate Wrecker, I REALLY enjoy the Hoptimum. I can honestly say that SN makes some awful effing beers.

And for those of you who are able to get enjoy by's now, I envy you. That said, the consensus seems to suggest it's not as good as 4.20 which tells me that it's HARD to make consistently great beer.....but I won't stop till I'm dead.

I very much enjoyed the 7/4/14 this weekend. Shared one bottle with a couple friends and kept the other one for myself. :muahaha:

As this was my first Enjoy By, I can't compare it to any others, but I thought it was great!

Split a bottle of the Enjoy By with my neighbor last night. He had never had any of the Enjoy By beers before. He loved it, thought it was one of the best IPA's he's had. I, on the other hand, thought it was just OK.

By the color, clarity and aroma there was absolutely no doubt this was a Stone Enjoy By, but I thought it really fell short in the flavor profile. It just seemed very bland, especially after you bring it to your nose and get that awesome aroma from it. I was expecting a great hop flavor and there was very little there. It was still a real good IPA, just didn't hold a candle to any of the previous Enjoy By editions that I've had. It just needed more flavor for me!!!

I'm still not sure if they adjust every batch differently. The last one was definitely much, much different in a good way. They've all been exceptionally good but it does seem that either they can't get the same recipe or don't want to. Likely it's a hop supply thing but that's just plain guessing.

I stopped by my local ABC yesterday.

I grabbed one. I'm curious. I also told Ibasterd that I'm sharing it with him because I don't want to dump it all if I don't like it.

I grabbed 2 yesterday and am saving one for Father's day and the other for July 4th!
All I hear is that its not as good as the last one and I can find no info on whether they change things from batch to batch. However, I'm told this went to many, many more locations than ever before so maybe that had something to do with it........they made more!

Friends in my beer circle have said it's really good. I'm trying to expand my mind here. I've had IPAs that for the most part were just too bitter for me, and others that I can count on one hand that have been amazing (pecker wrecker!!).
