Well, it's a white freezer, and I'll be using oak 1X8 for the facing, so I don't want it to contrast too much. I figured I'd get a clear varnish and let the natural color of the wood come through. I also just ordered 6" natural oak tap handles, so that'll help tie it all together, too.

And I just realized that I got involved in talking with the LHBS guy about what I was planning, and he realized I needed a shank to get the connection through the collar, so I forgot to the the drip tray, which is what we'd been talking about in the first place.

Shucks. Guess I'll have to go back to the LHBS and pick up a drip tray. Next time I buy grains, etc. Thing is, I had more than enough money to cover it today....
