Yeah and the Blues played awful today. On a side note, did you see Stoke's goalkeeper score a goal from a long kick downfield that the wind carried? 12 seconds into the game. Awesome!

Only on the highlights show....yes, that was a stellar goal. I guess he's only the 5th keeper to actually score in the PL.
My daughter scored a goal from 10 feet inside the half line going the other direction in their second game of the season back in August. She was back on D (or midfield) and a loose ball came to her so she boomed it, supposedly to the forwards but it took a weird bounce and BOOM! Goal!!!!
That's where her nickname BOOMER came from! I know, I know, premier league soccer for 9 year olds ain't top shelf but it is fun to watch.

On a soccer related note, I'm quite excited that the local team here, Orlando City SC, is inching closer to joining the MLS in 2015. They just won the USL PRO championship for the 2nd time in 3 years!
