Autumn is most definitely my favorite time of the year for all the reasons you've mentioned. Crisp air, shorter days, promise of change, campfires, apple picking and Halloween. However, living in Florida, this is a frustrating time for me. I grew up in Wisconsin and enjoyed all that Fall has to offer. Here in Florida, it can actually be the hottest, most miserable time just before we see any relief. I so desperately want it to cool down, but I know it will be a couple of more months of oppressive, humid weather before it gets any better. The best I can do is enjoy some Oktoberfests and Pumpkin beers and pretend that It's not hot as Africa outside. Cheers to all of you who get to enjoy the change in seasons.
