I tell our garage kitty her only job is to keep the elephants out of the front yard. So far she's been pretty good at it.

To start with John, sounds like you had a wonderful time overseas. I've traveled the U.S.A a lot but have only been to one foreign Country - Canada :) And that is great you got to experience some of Europe. I have a good friend of Italian descent that just got back from a two week visit to the "old Country", He is not a beer drinker but he knows I am and he went on and on to tell me how great the beer was there and he would become a beer drinker if we had beer like that here, Blah Blah Blah. I had my doubts but what do I know, I've never been there. I believe you and Beerlord on beer more then him and I was right on my thinking even though I just went along with him. They make great wine there and drink alot of it, but I don't think beer is one of their best products.

Thank you all.
This did derail, but with typical Borg humor.
Berry, I've read that there is a budding craft beer scene in Italy, but none was available at the restaurants I visited. I did not make a special effort to search it out. The ones I did try were typical German inspired lagers like our corporate beer here. The Moretti I drank at least had no corn, which I have now learned to taste in adjunct lagers.

Never mind, there it is.

Isn't this a book? Jane and John in Europe. Jane and John visit the White House. Jane and John go to the zoo.

I remember reading these when I was a kid. Different than "Jane and John do Europe"... Stop it Inkleg, don't think like that...
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Sounds like a really great trip sprinkled with some nice tasty Belgian beer, it doesn't get any better than that.
