As Doc said MRB managed to turn my favorite site on the web to the biggest pain to navigate and take all the great features off it. So glad for Louie and this site here so i dont really miss the MRB community since most of them are here

My link was just a post by Louie that was very nicely worded letting people know they can come here to get their questions answered while the board is undergoing whatever it is (or isn't) undergoing. I thought it was a classy post.

Seriously though... does anyone have any thoughts of actually going back to participate in the MB forum??

I logged into MB forum this morning for the first time in a couple of months and was sooooo confused by the new format. It took me a minute to figure out it was upside-down... WHY would that format EVER make sense??? On top of that, I can't find the PM Inbox, and my signature is gone and all of my other profile info. They must be smoking something over at MrB. I, for one, will not go back unless they radically overhaul the forum.

I go back once a day or so. There are noobz leading the noobz there. I am trying to keep them from misinformation

Now that is admirable, but why not just end the misery and invite them to a real cool place? Everyone (almost)is here. No need for two...

If they actually made it usable, sure. I mean, think of how lost you might have been without that forum. Then think of all the new people today, tomorrow, next week, who are just trying to enjoy their new toy, looking for help, and failing miserably because of that horrid "improved" site.

I know I'd still like to pay it forward.

Confused the bejeepers out of me when they did that flip. Not that there was a whole lot to read anyway. They basically gave up a free technical support department to all their new users.

Why? simple. if they can't poke around and figure out where we "hive" , well... will they really understand anything we tell them?

Bluejaye, I'm thinking you can pay if forward here....
I mean, if they mucked up this bad once, who nows what will happen if they ever fix it. here, you have a person who is developing/running a great forum, that isn't goverened by a corporation. He/we can do what we want.... and it is policed by ourselves. I for one have all the trust in Louie's, BeerLord and GWCR's judgments.
