The last thing you want to do is brew and feel pressured to just get it done, the reason we brew beer is to relax and not be stressed out in the first place.

And now this update ----
My daughter texted me this morning to inform me that there's supposed to be a lot of snow this weekend, and maybe driving will be hazardous, and maybe we should come down another time.
Well, I texted back and said let's adopt a "wait and see" attitude. Brooklyn isn't that far a drive, and we can decide Sunday morning if we want to go there in the afternoon.
In any case, even if we don't go, I'm going to hold off on brewing this weekend. I'd still have to hike down to the LHBS after working five or so hours, and I doubt I'll feel like it.
I like Vince's point. Brewing is supposed to be relaxing and fun, so why impose upon that? My pipeline won't be hurt significantly by it. Remember, I've still got an entire keg of lager waiting for spring.

Snow and high winds are keeping us home today. And I have no ingredients with which to brew. I have labels to put on the case of Tennessee Cream Ale I bottled last weekend, and I've got to keg the 2Daves Irish Red today. And I need my rest. I've had an exhausting week.

We've missed all of the bad, cold weather and have been above normal the last few days. So, I took advantage of decent weather and some Mardi Gras time off and brewed Sunday and am brewing today. As I said, this was the longest period of inactivity since I started brewing again. I don't think I'd want to brew every day but I would love to brew once a week but I'll try every 2-3 weeks for as long as I can. The other problem is that I'll drink less during Lent. Maybe I can shed a few pounds.
