Might be worth wasting a couple of caps to fill them with water and do a test run on them before your first bottling day.
I'm with Inkleg on this one (not in the shower though ) I've yet to find a bottle that I couldn't cap with my wing capper, with the exception of the twist off bottles!Inkleg wrote:Hate to go against the grain here, but I can cap the heck out of those with my wing capper.
Seems I can't find the sweet spot height wise for those bottles with my bench capper.
Love my bench capper, but have used the wing capper enough that it's not much harder to use. The few (maybe two) bottles that I've broken were probably weak to start with.
I like people who go against the grain. It is one of my own favorite pass times I call it proclaiming the emperor has no clothes. Which of course makes it handy for him to jump in the shower for a beer.Inkleg wrote:Hate to go against the grain here, but I can cap the heck out of those with my wing capper.

Heck that's nothing. Ask this bunch what's their favorite number on a 6 sided dice and you'll get 8 different answers and one of them will be "the inside".MK RAM wrote:Wow, looks like I got some folks goin on cappers.....awesome!
You're welcome, it's just something we do.MK RAM wrote: GREAT info here, thank you all!!

The rule at my house is the brewer does not start drinking till after the hot break. Just makes for better beer that way.DaYooper wrote:The best way to brew is with a homebrew in hand!haerbob3 wrote:Ahh Come Ink Let's get everybody all riled up. What is the best way to brew??
