Wilson's Law,

Wilson was not an Optimist,

He knew better, He knew that if he dropped a piece of buttered bread it would fall buttered side down 10 out of 10 times.
Did this stop this man. No he persevered on in spite of his terrible luck................
and decide to start brewing his own beer

Wilson's Ten Laws of Brewing Beer at Home:

1. If it can happen it will happen, so don't even worry about it, just be prepared.
2. Wort will scorch to the bottom of the pot every time, so just go out and buy steel wool you'll need it.
3. As long as you watch your wort it will not boil over, "but drop your whisk just once, and turn your back on the stove and Poof! it will be all over the stove, the walls, your kids, and the dog".
4. Hop Pellets will stay fresh in your freezer until they are opened, The act of which by the way, will cause them to fly all over the kitchen floor.
5. The lid on your LME/HME will always fall into the can creating a sticky mess.
6. One Step is not always,
7. The spigot of your keg will never leak until your bottling your most expensive batch of beer, then it will stick wide open and flood the kitchen floor.
8. When pitching Yeast it is best to wear a helmet......
9. Bottles of Home brewed beer will only explode when you've gone away for the weekend and left them sitting on your Wife's brand new white rug.
10. It is a given that you will trip and drop your keg as you climb up the steps to your brew closet.
Homebrew will get you through times of no money

Welcome to the forum Wilson
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

I'm touched, I can't believe the Herb has my original 10 laws.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.
I need to find my way around the board now.....
That and get some brewing done.
