Can a keg just be jacked up?

Have a question on how to keg your beer or just want some tips on bottling! Don't stick a cork in it until you ask the Borg!

Once again, what size line? is it thick wall? lower your keg temp and the pressure.

The last keg I tapped was way over carbonated when I tapped it, so I vented, but it was still foamy, so I just kept venting every once in a while. I'd pour a glass of foam and drink bottled beer, then drink the beer when the foam got to a reasonable level. I kept doing this until it settled down. I kept the CO2 disconnected until it started pouring slowly, then hooked it up for a while. I keep it connected, but turn the co2 off and on periodically until it's empty, especially since I go out of town frequently. If I have a leak somewhere, I'd rather come home to flat beer than an empty co2 canister.
