Just saw this thread and it looks like Sparrow is on to something.
I love the variety and creativity of beer labels. I'm also a graphic designer and had fun making my own (
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4741&start=1). Happy to help anyone else. Cheers!

I also like where this is going.
To add some perspective...

This kicks serious hiney, Papa! I'm likin' it!
Now, I just need to figure out how to actually make labels out of this. I don't computer very well....
And Sparrow, I owe you a couple of brewskis. Seriously. If you think you'd like a Black IPA, I've got one fermenting right now, and if I like the results, I'll PM you and get your address, and ship you a couple of bottles. I really appreciate what you've done.
And Birdie, you're a sweetheart. I may be an "old timer" on the Borg, but I'm just a regular guy who doesn't merit any special treatment. I'm really touched at the responses to my OP.

Dave,
While I'd never turn down an IPA of any kind, I truly enjoyed getting a chance to stretch some muscles I no longer get to use.
The whole thing was a Borg team effort, and BigPapaG ran it home!
As far as the actual label making goes, I haven't used any of the labeling software out there, but I know the Borg will come through for advice.

It's obvious that BigPapaG knows how to create a label out of it, so maybe he'll chime in with his technique. And then I'd have to figure out how to reproduce it six times on a sheet of paper so I can print it out. I wouldn't mind using that template for nearly every batch I make, so I'd need to know how to edit the text each time.
I guess I'll need to search other label-making sites to find one that would allow me to completely customize a label in this way, rather than use a pre-made template. Much as I love the ease of beerlabelizer.com, it doesn't carry a blank template option.

Nice finish BigPappaG!!! Dave I use a site called labeley.com for me it was fairly user friendly as most things computer wise are not so friendly to me. It is free!!! You can save a bunch of labels on their site till you hit the limit, once you hit the limit you need to start deleting some but as I create them I download (use the HD download option, creates the best label ) them to a folder on my desktop for Brew Labels then print as needed.

Well, I tried, but I couldn't figure out how to import the image from either my Downloads file or from Photobucket. Technology is my enemy.
