I brewed 10 gallons of my 'First Crack Kolsch', as the name implies it was my first crack at brewing this style.

Overshot my OG a bit but otherwise everything went well.

This needs to be made a sticky, in place of the 2015 thread.

2/17/16 - 2 gallons of beer, now in bottles, with 2.5 gallons of cider in the pipeline.

5/22/16 update! I've got 4 gallons of cider waiting for backsweetening, which will bring it up to 5 gallons in the keg. I have 2+ gallons of beer cold crashing in the fridge, and 6 or so gallons of wort chilling down in the wine fridge, waiting to get down to pitching temps (80*~ish degree "cold water" isn't really so helpful for quickly chilling wort--going to have to turn my old immersion chiller into a pre-chiller.

Hey Guys, I haven't been on in a while... Anyway, just finished bottling my first 2 2016 batches. I did an extract brew of an APA of my own design (with a little help from Beer Smith) and a batch of Kenny's English brown mild all grain that Kenny shared with us on the old unmentionable website from the company many of us no longer deal with...

So a little over 10 gallons so far...

Taster sips were nice on both. Looking forward to cracking a few.... Thinking of another "citrus" brew in the next week or so to welcome the spring.

Right now since the pipeline is low I'm having a "Yard's Brawler"

I'm open to suggestions on the citrus.

Regards, Ed B.

Did an all grain citrus wheat today (3/6/16) so chalk up another 5... thats 15 gallons so far.

Did a 2-1/2 gallon Hefe and a 2-1/2 gallon bitter orange this weekend (3/20/16). that makes 20 gallons give or take...

Forget to keep up on this. edited 10/2/16, Did a a golden monkey Clone. 5 gallons, an APA, 5 gallons, A 5 gallon milk stout now in my new keg and a citrus wheat that's now just cooling down. so add about 20 more to the total makes it about 40 gallons to date this year.

I'm actually off to my best brewing schedule so far, but I can't drink any of it. Saving it for my son's graduation party at the end of May (not for him of course, but for the masses that will come to the party :fillup ). Good variety so there should be something for everyone to sample. Also doing a keg of Root Beer and one of Orange Soda for the kids. Memorial day weekend can't get here fast enough...
