IOW ... if the recipe has 11# of 2-row and 1# of C40 ... do you get it in one 12# bag?
I'm not sure. I didn't see any notation of that when I place my order. You can always go to their site and open up a chat window with them. I had to do that this morning to reset my password. They were very helpful. I'm sure someone there can answer your question.

That sure seems like a good deal for those that can take advantage of it.

I can't say for sure for their AG kits, but I can tell you that for their extract+steep and PM kits, all the steeping grains are crushed together and in a single bag.
So I would chat with them before I order if it's an issue for you.

It's been awhile since I ordered a kit from NB and I ordered unmilled grains but they were all in one large bag.

I entered two of the three recipes into BeerSmith, it looks like I'm going to have to adjust the recipes slightly to reach the numbers they are giving. Mostly because my system is set for a 5.5 gallon batch. No biggie, it still saved me money, so thanks Beer-lord for posting this.

I brewed the Ace of Spades if you remember but not their kit, just their recipe.

I'd definitely brew it again but as mentioned in that thread, I like the Men In Black more. If I were do brew Ace again I would make changes and I know I made notes on the recipe but as I'm at work (not working if I'm on the forum), I don't recall what they'd be. But, all are rated pretty well at NB so I think you'll be happy and you will make good beer with less $$$$.

Too bad these aren't Extract with steeping grains recipes instead. Still a good price though.

@TonyKZ1, get yourself on their email list if you are interested in that possibility. Because they do that with extract + steep recipes sometimes too. For example, for say the 4th of July, they will do 3 extract + steep recipe's for 17.76 each (out of a selection of 6 or 8 types). It's a really good deal when they do it.

Thanks for the info. Yea, I'm on their email list and get their catalogs too. That's quite a deal, no doubt. You know I'm sorry to admit, I just caught the $20.16 referencing the new year after seeing the $17.76 reference to the 4th of July.
