Glad you liked it, Paul. I'm happy to share the recipe should you or anybody else want it. I actually kicked up the bitterness a tad on this batch (previous versions were my Santa Cruz Spring Ale) and changed the malt bill to make it a bit more balanced. Previous versions were too hop forward. Yeah, that's a thing. It was almost sweet with flavor from the hops and didn't have enough kick to balance it so it got overpowering after a while.

Aahhhh...a tasty pale ale. This is just an all around good one. Paul has most of the descriptors right on. The flavor and aroma are just perfect for a pale ale. Paul made a comment that the bitterness kind of lingers, I think it's not so much the bitterness that lingers, but the fruity flavor that sticks on the back of my tongue....and I like that. Other than the lingering flavor, it is very well balanced and very easy to drink.

Your uncle made a comment that it had a watery taste, Paul didn't get that and I don't either. It may have a little watery mouthfeel, in that it is a little thin, not to heavy. I don't think that's a fault, I just wonder if that's what your uncle meant.

It's a nice recipe Ron, I may need to put it in my line of recipes to brew. Thanks so much for sending this along.

I drank the Big N Juicy last night, which is the Fresh Squeezed clone. This is a fantastic beer. There isn't anything that is wrong with this beer. Aroma was outstanding and hit my nose as soon as it was poured. There was a perfect balance of bitterness and flavor. Very Smooth and easy drinking. In fact, this is just as good as most of the beers that I buy in the store. And after half the glass, I actually forgot that I was drinking a home brewed beer. Nice job Ron....you nailed this one.

 Thanks, Chris.

I haven't heard back from my uncle on this one nor the Mosaic Pale Ale yet and I'm interested to see what he thought about those.
