Start with 12 psi for about 4 days at 36-38 degrees. And I highly suggest this read. It really cleared up a lot for me when I was getting started kegging.

It is not that hard to do and once you get it down, you will be wondering why it took you so long to make the jump. You might want to save some money and get another co2 tank. I do the exchange thing, that way I don't have to keep up with certification. I am not hung up on how shiny my co2 tank looks.

good tip, my local beer distributor only fills them. I need to find a place that will exchange.

Not really sure where you are located , but I see there are airgas outlets in your county. That is who I use

+1 on Airgas. I have two 5# tanks and try to keep one on standby at all times. Once one dies off, I swap it duiring the week to bring me back to two.

I'm sure we've all had that dog gone leak that ruins your day and you end up with TWO EMPTY TANKS .... ugh!
