So I'm tasting my trub bottle, and it's about as I described above. Really hasn't changed at all except that it has clarified and has some carb now which adds a touch of perceived bitterness. It really doesn't have any head though. I think the large proportion of oats actually added enough fat to the beer to kill it. It is a nice light copper color, the Simsons Golden Naked Oats added a good bit. I really like that stuff, it has really nice flavor - so I think I'm going to use it instead of torified wheat in some British beer and see how that goes.

Like the Abbot version, it does come across as "beer", and not herbal tea like it sounds like it should. I'd ask someone what weird hop combination they used in it if someone handed me a bottle and didn't tell me what was in it.

I like it at least as much as the Abbot version, but it's noticeably different, a bit more fruity, a bit less spicy.

Happy to send/bring a bottle of this to a Borg thing if folks are brave enough to try it.
