Actually, the law went into effect immediately after it passed. It is currently OK and legal to possess, smoke, eat, stick up your a** :lol: , make some classy tea, etc.. You just can't buy it recreationally until (I hear) Jan 2018, due to the need to set up and issue licenses.

So next January, in order to make Dave not be here, I get to move to CA, spend some time hanging out with Kealia and his dog, then getting rip roaring stoned and drunk from weed beer, and then get on a plane with my red eyes, my bo staff, my dog, and whatever clothes are on my back, and wander the Indian country side? I know folks homebrew stuff there, but it sometimes leads to Elephant attacks on the homebrew apparatus/building, which is luckily usually separated from the houses in rural India due to fire hazards. Elephants apparently like or dislike (I'm not sure?) the smell.

Well that should be interesting anyways...
