If we don't know the answer to your questions....Hell, we'll make something up. Knowledge ain't all it's cracked up to be.

Hey Ebbz/Mike:
Somehow I missed this, but besides every Rush Album in existence, I also have a good bit of (old school) Tangerine Dream on my shelf. So we'd get along just fine.

Did you say RUSH? I've seen them more than 12 times. And I don't know much Tangerine Dream but what I do know, I like!
We are brothers, no?

I've seen Rush live bunches of times. Seen Tangerine Dream live a couple times (not often did they make it here). And Pink Floyd stadium concerts too. Those were always fun. I'm old LOL.
But I like so many different kinds of music it's not funny. I don't stick myself in a pigeon hole.
Folks who don't know Tangerine Dream, think more advanced (musical) Kraftwork. I don't think of them as "new age" so much as people think of that genre, but (especially the old stuff) is more like Phillip Glass with all synths. A music instructor that I knew who wasn't so keen on Phillip Glass also didn't like them because of how much they reminded her of him in the structure of some compositions. But I'm not her and I like them a lot.
This would be a desert island album of mine.

Hyperborea was always a go to when I wanted to chill...
Generally along with Jean-Michel Jarre...
Toss in some Vangelis...

Welcome to the group. Lots to learn here. Looks like your well on your way with your current brews. I dig RUSH too.
