Got an email from Jeff (inkleg) who said he's trying to find out why his computer blocks him getting on this forum but is looking into it.
He said to let everyone know he's looking forward to coming on in.

I say make him buy the first round!

This forum works better than the pre "upgrade" Mr Beer site. Great job. Unless they do a major fix there I think we may be better off here. I checked out Homebrewwtalk but was a bit overwhelmed. This seems more like home. Also we can talk about Brewdemon here without getting censored. There are 3 extracts that I regularly use as a base for my favorite IPA, Irish Red, and Belgian Witbier that I can only buy from the demon now.
This place does have a couple of advantages over Mr. Beer! It alright I guess! ;)

BTW welcome! Good to see you here Doc!

Couldn't agree more. Read a lot of all. Inkleg was very helpful to me in the beginning. Hell, what am I saying. It's still the beginning for me.

No kidding. For the past few days, it seems like there's maybe a dozen new posts made per day. I never added them up before, but it just seems like there were over a hundred pr day, if not much more. It is eerie. Exactly the right word for it. :o

There may be a chance that they were trying to get rid of the "old" stuff going on there.

While there was a lot of MB talk and recipes and help related to MB customers,
There was also non-MB talk that someone may have been getting jealous? who knows.

I thought that may they want it to be 100% MB talk.
Maybe they are going to integrate the store into the site.
Perhaps somehow every product in the store may have a direct link to the forum for reviews, discussion, help, news etc.

Perhaps I am wrong and they are not even that intelligent and they really f'ed it up.

Whatever it may be, it would be really hard to go and post there, so as long as the borg is here, im here!

Hello BORG! :borg:
Thanks for the heads up and the link! Hope I'm not crashing the party, but as many of you all have said the forum looks dead. There are a lot of posts that haven't had reply's or views for a couple of days, I guess.
I hope they get it fixed. But, change for change sake is never good in my opinion! :clink:
