Re: Bored with Brewing?
Story of my life guys! I have an extremely short attention span and I only hang with stuff forberryman wrote:Some people get into a hobby all gung hoe for a while and then move on to something else, some stick with it for a long time but can have their slow times, but stay with it. Some just leave all together. The way it works....
a finite amount of time then I move on to something else that piques my interest....
attest to a plethora of electronics laying around here, four grills, two bass guitars, a strat and an
off brand my daughter got from her ex... I can play them somewhat
I have found myself looking at brewing as a chore at times, and I'll admit, I've gotten
lazier as I've gotten older, but I, like most of y'all I still enjoy brew day. I work practically
every Saturday and they quit letting me go in at 3 a.m. so I get off later in the morning and
with a 6 hour brewday ahead, it's kinda... blah.
Also, Sunday's the only weekend day SWMBO has off so we try to hang with each other as much as possible.
I've been brewing for a little over five years and for the most part, I think I brew some pretty decent
beer and I have a couple of friends that do too, PLUS I can brew a couple of cases for less than
a case of premium beer.
Sometimes that, and the huge monetary investment I've got in it is the only logic I can use to justify staying with the obsession.
