A couple of more cartons and you will have a Christmas tree! Those are some some truly awesome tasting beers.

It was pretty good and I'd try a Flipside if I could find it. Do you know if it is a seasonal or regional offering?
Michele, I just found a Flipside at the Parmer HEB the other day. In fact, I just finished drinking it right now. If I see another one I'll pick it up and hold it for you. The reason I grabbed it myself was because the Oscar Blues G'Knight Red IPA I stumbled across last weekend was so great. I still think I like that on better. This was very good, but that one was incredible, at least if you like a nice malty sweetness alongside your hoppiness, which it turns out I do. A lot.

I will be trying Flipside tonite. The few reviews I've read show it to be very fruit/citrus like in both aroma and taste. I'm guessing tons of Simcoe or C hops. I know I'll like it because I like almost all SN beers and especially if they are IPA's.
Anybody other than Ron try it yet and have an opinion.

EDIT: I see the bittering is Magnum and the finishing is Citra, Simcoe, Centennial but you never know what is used for dry hopping. What's not to like if you're an IPA head like me?

It should be everywhere but if you can't find it, let me know and I'll get you a few. As far as I can tell, its been out for more than a week most places.
Damn, I need to learn how to drink more!

Ruthless Rye and Summerfest are two of SN's seasonal brews: spring & summer. Tumbler is the fall seasonal and is in stores here now. Then Celebration in winter.

Based on comments here I will look forward to trying the Flipside IPA even though IPAs are not my favorite.

I had a Flipside last night. Pretty good. Not as hoppy and fruity as some of the reviews I've read but it's definitely got a tropical taste to it. It poured a gorgeous color and had a mildly citrus taste. I'm not sure if I would have guessed this was Sierra Nevada or not and wanted a bit more aroma but I did like this beer enough that I will buy some while in season.

It is now listed as a new Fall Seasonal on the SN site, along with Tumbler.

Seems to be their version of a Cali Red Ale... Simply a red ale with IPA hops...

Along the lines of Bear Republic's Red Rocket I suppose (I really like that one!)

Had it last week and thought it was just ok. Lots of tropical fruits in the aroma, very little malt. The taste was more of the same, tropical fruit bitterness that lingered awhile, I was excepting more malt flavor from this one. I buy it again if I was out but would go seeking it out, my overall impression was that it was a bit safe, I enjoy the ruthless rye and the celebration more as far as their seasonal go.

I think Celebration is their best beer.

I am another huge Ruthless fan and hate that it rotates out of stock as a seasonal.

I haven't seen Celebration but would love to try it, is it a seasonal as well? If so when would I start searching the beer isles for it?

Yes, it's seasonal and made for the Holidays. It just says 'Winter' so I don't know the exact period it comes out.
