Re: Keezer Build
Went with this 4 valve manifold instead of individual regulators (they are quite expensive) and I’m not that fussy on carb to style. Could be added later if see the need.

Side note, if anyone gets one of these manifolds, make sure you pressurize and put in a pail of water. I had quite a few leaks and had to disassemble and re-tape, good now.

Yeah, that's happened to me too, on a dual regulator set up.

TY BL. It is usable and killed a partial keg out of it already but with my picnic tap, didn't want to run though the lines and faucets when knew wasn't much left. Another few days will try that. Maybe on the wine sooner. Still have a ways to go to finish but is usable now and temps hold good.

Re: Keezer Build
Trying an experiment today. I had the temp probe in a glass of water but still thought it was cycling more then should. I put the probe in the middle of a 1 gal. gel pack and duct taped around it. it is taking a long time to stabilize, but I think I can raise the temp to about 36-38 and close the differential down to about 2 and still shouldn't run as much.

Re: Keezer Build
Just a thought, do you have a good seal around the collar that you built? Just wondering if your leaking cold air out somewhere; causing it to run more than it should.

Re: Keezer Build
BD, My first thought, I have a infrared temp gun and went all around, my biggest loss is the extra hole in collar that has no shank in it yet but does have a piece of insulation in the hole. Had it set for 34 degs. a little colder then I want but a staring point. 4 deg differential, probe in a glass of water on the bottom. would shut off at 34 but drift down to 31 come back on at 38. About a 1 1/2 hour. only 2 full kegs in there right now (maybe ). I am thinking should be about 5 hours between. Maybe my expectations are too high, the beer stays close to the same, I just don't want it to start as much as my fridge. does and doesn't, but think I can do better.BlackDuck wrote:Just a thought, do you have a good seal around the collar that you built?
