I got the collar put on my chest freezer to add more height and allow for the CF5 to be inside!

I put my Berliner Weiss in it today. More pics to come tomorrow. ImageImage

I like your wood! You must start adding stickers to it quickly to give it that homebrew look!

Bubbling away. It was a bit clumsy putting all the tri-clamps on and setting things up the way I wanted, but I'm sure that will get quicker as the process gets more familiar. Image

It's got so many whatnots and dodads that it could pass as an experimental fusion reactor.

Or R2-D2's cousin.

I did my first zero-oxygen, fully pressurized transfer from fermenter to keg yesterday. Super easy, although I did remove the fermenter from the chest freezer to do it this first time which was not light to pick up.

I'm brewing again this weekend, and then next weekend I will carb that beer in about 24 hours with the carb stone, then transfer fully carved beer into the keg with a spunding valve I just bought.

I can see my next few paychecks going to more accessories for this bad boy [emoji3]ImageImageImage

Today's conical fun: I connected the carb stone to carb up my Sierra Nevada Pale Ale cone. It should be done in about 24hrs if I set it right. Image

Let's see, since the board crashed I've:

- Fermented 2 batches
- Did my first (and second) trub dumps
- Fully carbed a batch in 24 hours using the carb stone
- Pressure transferred fully carbed beer to a keg
- Ordered more stuff.....(extended legs, insulating jacket, glycol chiller)

I'll post pics this coming weekend (hopefully) when the rest of the pieces arrive and get tested. Now I need to sell my chest freezer.....hopefully there's a local homebrewer who wants a keezer but doesn't want to/can't build a collar themselves.

This thing was too pretty to keep in a chest freezer, plus I couldn't get to the very bottom to utilize the sight glass/trub/yeast dump so......I spent more money

Added:
- Leg extensions
- Base unit with wheels
- Heated jacket
- Sight glass at the bottom (currently nothing in the fermenter :( )
- Glycol chiller w/coiled lid

It came with Spike's own thermostat control, but since I have my STC-1000 to control the heat/cooler already, I'll just keep that as a spare.

I'm currently well-stocked on beer, but hoping to brew another pale ale either this coming weekend, or next.

Oh boy, I see someone got hit with the new interest in the brewing bug, new equipment will do that to ya. All super nice looking equipment Kealia. Question: since you don't have a pump, how do you transfer from the M&B into the fermenter?
