It doesn't seem familiar. Can you hum a few bars?

Told her that there was a place like heaven
Across the water on a 747
Yeah, we're living in
In a modern world.

And pretty soon she's really got the notion
Of flying out across the big blue ocean
Yeah, we're living in
In a modern world.

Talk is cheap on satellite
But all I get is (static!)
Information, I'm still here
Re-dial on automatic.

Easy one I think.

"But you and I, we've been through that and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now the hour is getting late"

All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix and a few others

Well I'm packing up my game and I'm-a head out west
Where real women come equipped with scripts and fake breasts

I wanna be a cowboy- Kid Rock

Chev brakes are snarling as you stumble across the road
But the day breaks instead so you hurry home
Dont let the sun blast your shadow
Dont let the milk float ride your mind

Written by Bob Dylan preformed by countless others most notably Jimi Hendrix & Dave Mason

And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too

Well, Bob's is Brain Damage, Floyd.
But I don't know Ray's, so I'm refraining.
Judges? We need a ruling.

Ray's = Rock 'n' Roll Suicide - David Bowie
Bob's = Brain Damage - Pink Floyd

no ones going, so I will:

Til forever, on it goes
Through the circle, fast and slow
I know
It can't stop, I wonder

I believe that song is called "Have you seen the rain". The version I know best is by the Ramones, and it was also covered by some local punk bands. But I do not think it's their song, and a bunch other people have done it... I have no idea who the original artist is, and I'm pretty sure didn't start off as a punk rock song...

Someone else can guess the original artist.

The band I was thinking of calls it *Have You Ever Seen The Rain?* Not a punk band, don't know who originally sang it, but this band is Proud of a gal (Left a good job in the city ).
