A guy on a facebook homebrewing group that I post on once accidentally topped off his fermenter with a gallon of starsan instead of water, turned out to be one of his best tasting brews. Didn't turn out to have a chemical or sour taste. So if that can happen, I wouldn't worry about a few drips getting into the beer.

Its all good now, it started fermenting in less than 24 hours and now it is bubbling correctly. This just reiterates the mantra "RDWHAHB"

Quick update on this. After a week of primary fermentation, I transferred to the 3 gal carboy then added the raspberry puree. I added 1.5 lbs of it because a lot of people online were using 3 lbs of the puree for 5 gal batches. It looks super cool now (ruby colored) and smells great. I have also thought of a name for it. After a long conversation with an uncle of mine about how my brewing set up looked like something out of a scene from the early episodes of breaking bad, and the fact that my beer is now not normal colored (just like walts product, but not blue..), I am calling it Walter White Ale!
