Did a Hard lemonade 3 weeks ago, bought 3 gallons organic lemonade ( no preservative, additives ) and dumped it onto yeast cake from Apple cider I used S04 and pitched a 5 g packet of Premier Cuvee yeast and some yeast nutrient as soon as I was done kegging the cider. The OG was 1.054 just straight lemonade, checked last nite I think its done @ .999. Have a can of frozen organic Limeade to back sweeten with and maybe a couple packets of Splenda. I found my 3 gal. of cider needed more than a can of frozen organic apple juice to back sweeten, was still a bit to tart, came out that 2 packet per one liter bottle was about perfect for us.

Just put together a 3L starter. Used left over wort from the Nashville Belgian brew, about 2L then diluted with 1L tap water. Refractometer read about 1.042, close enough. Plan on harvesting 100 billion cells and tossing the rest into an 11 gallon ESB.

My goal is to give most of it away. I'll give a case to my wife to take to work, I'll take a case to work, a couple of sixers to the Dodge dealership, because I had fun beating them up, and so on. Beer, I've found it makes people happy when given away.

Kegged up 8.5 gallons Bottoms Up Brown Ale, then kegged 3 gallons Hardly Lemonade on top of a can of Organic Frozen Limeade and 18 packets of Splenda.

Bottled almost a full case of Bah Bah Guava. It's a collaboration recipe I brewed with a buddy of mine- guava weizenbock using guava fruit in the mash, guava paste in the boil, and guava fruit in secondary. Finished at 8.5% abv and has a really intense aroma and flavor of guava with some raisiny dark malt flavors mixed in. Can't wait to try one!

No? No tape around the caps.... Is there a joke I'm missing?

Yes. Those of us that have traded beers with Beer-lord in the past have poked fun at him for the way he wrapped the caps in electrical tape. It did a great job of preventing issues with the caps/leaking but made the bottles almost impossible to clean and re-use. Thus, we bust his balls over this.

Let's get something straight first......everyone makes fun of me for everything so this is not an oddity.
Actually, I saw the magic tape trick on youtube so I can't get full, angelic credit for being uber smart and safe but I do love to send bottles with tape on them. Actually, I used some good, thick and rubbery tape and the guys are just jealous they didn't think of that first.
Hmmm, note to self, need some new tape. Maybe I can find assorted colored rolls.

Yeah, the stuff Paul came across could tape stink to a skunk. The video he watched was on how to secure nuclear waste for shipment, not beer.

Shoot him a PM, see if he'll send you a bottle. You will regret it, not the beer, (cause that's actually pretty damn good), but just trying to get in the bottle will make you cuss like a drunken sailor and then you have to throw the bottle away because you can't get the residue off.

Love you Paul, but I'm calling like I see it. :p
