Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I'm partially shutting down the Brauhaus for the month of August. No more 2.5 gallon batches until after Labor Day, so I'm only going to brew one fiver this month. I will be bottling/kegging, though. I bottled a 2.5er of Bit O' Bitter yesterday, and next week I'll bottle 2.5 gallons of Tennessee Cream Ale, and the week after that I'll keg the 100 Years War IPA and brew a batch of Rye-Guy Rye IPA.

Bottled 'Drunken Farmer" Saison today 5 Gal.. 1.090 SG a little higher then projected, 1.088 OG what should have been. 1.008 FG a touch lower then projected @1.010 FG but all is good. Belle is quite the eater. And I think I was a little low on the volume because I only got 50 bottles and a half (tester/trub) but I did pull a few readings. 8 days in the primary and 33 days in the secondary. Dry hopped last week with 2oz. French Aramis. Also used Nelson Sauvin and Spisselpalt in this one. I like the color. Pitched in the high 60's but never got higher then the mid 70's...........Smells good, Looks good and taste good. will see in a few weeks what it's really like.
But I also loose some beer dry hopping too...............

Just mashed in Le Petite Saison. SG should be around 1.031, going to pitch Belle Saison at 68* and just let it free rise.

Yesterday the weather was beautiful for brewing and I brewed 10 gallons of Hiphopapocalypse IPA.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Bottled my 1G AG Amber Lager fermented at low to mid 60s Ale temps (which according to the yeast I used, I was still with in it's temperature range) late yesterday evening. It was my first time using a mini-siphon (worked okay) and hose, 12oz glass bottles and capping system. I tried using a wand with the mini-siphone first but for some reason it didn't work out well, so I switched back to just using the plastic clamp on the hose to turn the flow on/off as I filled the bottles. After getting that figured out and cleaning up the mess on the kitchen counter and floor, I got a little over 8 12oz. bottles without getting any trub or anything in the bottles. So I'm calling it a learning experience and hoping the beer turns out drinkable?

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Back brewing after a (too long) break
Yesterday I brewed up a IPA type brew. Made with whatever ingredients I had that were still good HAHA.
Roughly
64% 2 Row
28% White wheat
8 % crystal
Bittered with Warrior Hops, Flavor & Aroma used a combo of Amarillo & Ahtanum
Might throw some grapefruit in (i have been enjoying a lot of grapefruit sculpin recently)
Good or bad it will be beer. Now that I'm back brewing I can order up some fresher ingredients and have a more well thought out recipe.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I kegged / bottled 5 gal Brewers Best Witbier and 5 gal of Mr Beer (yuck) CAL with and extra pound of light DME and 1 oz cascade hops.
Lately, I've been kegging 2.5 gal in my mini kegs and bottling the rest in some old Straub returnable bottles.

Kegged a batch of SMaSH Mosaic IPA, dry-hopped a batch of SMaSH Equinox IPA, & brewed up a batch of Amarillo & Simcoe IPA. Went to the LHBS & bought another sack of grains & some hops after a productive brew Monday morning!
