I worked in an AV store back in the day. We were watching this concert on a big screen tv (the oldschool rear projection kind that you needed a forklift or 4 big dudes to move!), specifically this song at that very moment, jamming to it on some high end audio equipment while watching the space shuttle Challenger launch. During one of the times Stevie Nicks was letting out one of her "aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhs" in this song the challenger blew up.

The combination of all of it burned that day into my brain.



This is a live concert video starting around 1:15 in... we were watching it on a Beta Hi-Fi device, which was wicked awesome, and yeah I'm one of those people who was sad to see VHS beat out Beta.

Really like this band.

RIP Lou Reed. Without him, especially without this band, and the influence their songs (like them or not), many future bands that were out of the mainstream would not have existed, and I would be a sad person.
