Currently at old chicago having a new belguim brewing rampant ipa. Typing on my phone and just too lazy to capitalize. But not too lazy to tell ya all that. Yet too lazy to check my spelling.

I always am caught off-guard when people have to score New Belgium, as they've been in the markets I've lived in forever. I always forget that they aren't in all markets (though they are working on it).philm00x wrote:Scored a couple bombers, one each of New Belgium's Fat Tire and Sunshine Wheat beers. Excited to try them!
Tonight I will be going for a northern tour during poker... Thinking that Surly and Lake Louie will be on the menu, though I might throw in a last second audible.

I am drinking an all grain Brick Warmer Red Ale. It's been in the keg for a week and has a nice taste! It is an interesting beer from start to finish, the flavor profile improves toward the end of the glass as the beer warms.

Re: What are you drinking?
Took a trip to MI wine and beer country. Did several tastings with the wife but left with a 6'r of Bells Oberon and Midwestern Pale Ale.
Re: What are you drinking?
Mr. Beer summer seasonal saison where I simply added 1/3oz of Citra for a little hop stand and overfilled a bit to get more beer and make it a bit more like a summer saison vs. a winter saison (as in lower abv and drier). It's really good @4 weeks in the bottle.
Re: What are you drinking?
Posted the review yesterday, had brewin bull's Sting Ray IPA with my pizza pocket dinner.
Re: What are you drinking?
Cool Springs Brewery's Berliner Weiss is so very good. Also had their Twig and Berries (their Kolsch secondaried with a ton of blueberries) and the Honey Pot (Saison Braggot). Great evening at the local brewpub...
As a side note, Twig and Berries and Honey Pot obviously fall in line with CSB's rather suggestive naming conventions (not sure how the Berliner didn't get a funky name). Others include Shaft (Black IPA), Pecker Wrecker (IPA), Brussel's Muscle (Belgian), Bulging Kilt (Wee Heavy), Kilt Lifter (Scottish), 3's A Crowd (Trippel), Wheat Dream (Hefe), Private Johnson's Pale Ale, Early Riser (stout), Titches Wit, MorningWood (Red), Jackhammer (Maibock), Bushwacker (Wheat), and (of course) CircumSaison...
