With you and Chuck having to ship yours, I totally understand just a few bottles. At last count there were 9 people right? I figured 2 each of these, so I'll probably bring a case. Plus I plan on bring 3 bottles of my sour, just so all can get a taste of it.
We'll be able to buy beer in Nashville, right?

I heard Chris was doing all the buying for us all.

I kind of figured/assumed that the tasting aspect would be similar to other tastings I go to, where we were looking at 3-4oz tastes of each beer, so a few bottles of each beer would suffice. I have the luxury of bringing more bottles though... I guess, also, that I don't know if you all plan more beers around the house, or if you plan to supplement your drinking with local crafts...

I'm not buying all the beer....but I am bringing a lot. I figure if we don't finish it, it will just make the trip back home with me. Other than my Fruit Salad Session IPA, the Kealia's Karate Chop Chocolate Stout, the Winter Time RCE with Jimjohson, I'm also bringing the bomber of Stone Master of Disguise, and a six pack of Brew Kettle Black Rajah. Who knows what else I'll find.
Oh...and I can't forget the two bottles of my Belgian Golden Strong that has been in the fridge since sometime in 2013. It may not even be any good anymore.

I'm thinking of bringing a few bottles each of: Conan IPA, Chirp Red Ale, Maple Rye, Brett Brown, HS2 Brown, Kashi Brett Saison, Hoppy Belgian, Nashville Pre-Prohibition Ale (which is going in a fermenter this weekend). Maybe some other homebrew stuff. Maybe a Yazoo Embrace the Funk beer or three.

I'll be bringing a couple pints of my Parti-Gyle Banjo-Dawg RCE Belgian Strong Ale (11.2%), and a growler of the B-D RCE Belgian Pale Ale small beer. I was given about 20, 22 oz bottles, do 10 or 12 of these with the Traveling Red. Maybe a growler or two of a Amarillo-Nelson Sauvin Pale Ale. Like Chris said what ever does not get consumed can return!

Holy Hangover............I guess we'll be doing nothing but drinking.
Reminds me of a weekend at a friends house in high school with the parents gone. We had to have beer with EVERYTHING. Breakfast it was beer in the Cherios. Lunch, it was hamburgers cooked in beer. Dinner, was shrimp boiled in beer. And somehow, I still remember it all.
RedBEERd and I will be sure to ship enough and if it's too much, it'll stay there or go home with the guys with cars.

Is this easily available in stores when we get there? If not, would you please pick up any bottles you run across, I'll gladly pay.

So many different styles, too. Can't wait for this! Gonna have to go to the wholesale club for the 1000ct bottle of acetaminophen!

Not readily available in stores at this point. Every batch released thus far has been small-ish (smallest was 10 bombers, and the biggest was 1400 12oz bottles), and it usually sells out at the brewery same day of release. I know the newer batch of Deux Rogues (the GABF bronze winner) is much larger this year, but I don't know exactly what that means in terms of availability (or the timing of release for that matter... I know just yesterday Brandon was tasting from the barrels that will be blended, so it likely won't be soon). The plan eventually is to distribute, but these first few years have been several small batches as they get their new barrel facility fully built out. I currently have a few bottles of the last two still around, and one bottle of two of the Deux Rogues releases, so I'll bring some of that along. The various releases are listed
here.

While we're all here I should ask if anyone still needs a room since I'm about to cancel our room at the best western and maybe they'd let me transfer it if someone else needs it. I have a govt rate so they may balk at that but I could try. Do if anyone needs one let me know soon. Only about 30 days left boys
Btw. HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS

Oops have to cancel the growler or two of the Pale Ale, just kicked the keg! This was a popular brew, I didn't even get any of this bottled.
We already have our room booked @ BW Music Row

I'm sure someone more in the know on the hotel arrangements can PM you, but I think the hotel folks are Best Western on Music Row. Some of the other folks have rented a house. Hope to see you here in a month... this should be a lot of fun.
