Okay, I think it is just you and I BB. Thinking weekly, not long term at all, I've already picked many of the contenders. Burned: Pats, Saints, Broncos, Chargers, Seahawks.
Picking: 49ers over Panthers. Good luck!

Well I thought you might come after me with Indy over the Pats so we lived another week.
I'm taking the Pats if you want to change your mind and save the Niners for another round.
That makes this week a mono on mono.

Thanks, I do hope Indy beats the Pats, but I'll stick with the 9ers. We'll work on our strategy for next season!

Well I guess we're done for the season.
JS Iwish the best to the Niners going into Seattle, that looks to be a tough game.
It would have been a very nervous week if we had to pick from the upcoming games.
RayYankee I think you played this game great.
I have a lot of respect for all of you who play fantasy football as result of playing this game.
Hope to see you all back here next season.
Hey did I win a car????

I am very proud of my little sister for dominating Borg NFL Survivor (along with Sand). I dropped out early every time. I, a clearly stud NFL prognasticator (see my sig).
She had 3 pages of notes on matchups playoff seeds etc. Righteous win BB1.
She's a winner, she should win a damn car ... or a BrewDemon refill (both equally valuable).

Congratulations! I can send some homebrew as a prize when the weather warms enough to ship it.
But I have a question for the judges: Aren't we tied? I know I can't pick next week because I've used those teams. But we were both right this weekend. Do you want to pick next week to have one more right? Or would it be boring to pick against no-one? I've never played this before, I'm not trying to be a sea lawyer or a poor sport. (I think I lost twice already, I'm used to it) What do you think?
Don't take this too seriously, I don't!

I thought you guys were tied as well John. Was surprised to see bb claiming victory.

Well, Ray, we never anticipated this scenario. However it ends it was all fun. I look forward to next season.

My bad. I told BB1 she was last man standing because John had no further picks. I guess technically there is a tie unless she would pick a winner next week (no fun alone though). As you say nobody had forseen this situation, well its just a fun only game anyway. In other applications I have seen there are never bouts this late in season so a player completely runs out. We should think about it for next year. For sure, no resets once regular season ends.

As BB2 said I just thought it was because JS didn't have a pick for the next round.
Let's hear from the
members who are interested for next season how this should work out.
No worries about the sea lawyer issue JS and agreed it's all for fun.
For what its worth I had scripted the final two pics as next week Denver and Seattle for the big banana. And then of course I find out this AM that Rogers is out with an ACL.
So another question for next season: What if two survivors get this far with the same teams still in their pockets (i.e. both pick Denver to win)??
Is there a way to set it up so there is a tie breaker some how?

Usually in my pools it comes down to picking the total points in the final score. Closest to that number wins regardless of being over/under.

Pocket, that's a good tie-breaker. I tried checking the net for how other folks run this game. Rules are all over the map. Some use single elimination, some double and some triple. Some reset for playoffs, others don't. I'm good with any rules, and we can surely make it up as we go. No need for a "beer summit", though I'm always ready for one!

So, what is the decision? Does BB pick this weekend? Or win by default?
