My own Oktoberfest Lager, I think the worst beer I've ever brewed and I had high expectations on this one. Started out under pitched and then a roller coaster ride on temps. 2 cases of it and a beer I won't share (not good) but drinkable at least for me. Not infected, just not good beer. I've never had to dump a beer but was close on this one, only 6 more left and it's gone for good. Very bad temp control on my part.

Dragonmead Final Absolution Tripple - now I know I dislike trippels...

Short's Bellaire Brown, New Holland Cabin Fever, Bell's Best Brown clone and Moosedrool clone in taste test. My two clones voted best, followed by Cabin Fever and the Short's. Liked Cabin Fever a lot, but had it once before.

Tried Bell's Kalamazoo Stout. Too bad I bought a sixer, know I know I don't like brewer's licorice...

My first Sour  Death Sour ECY20 named after my wife's job in the MEs office and the East Coast yeast it was brewed with back in February. It is tart, citrusy, and FANTASTIC! This beer was way out of my normal brewing style and I'm glad I gave it a try. There are 3 gallons of this sitting on raspberries for a few months, I can't wait.

Awesome. I have been doing funky beers recently, but I need to do a sour again...

I'm drinking some of the Mr. B extract beers made from contest winnings. Patriot Lager and Czech Pils (both with lager yeast). Not terrible, but definitely not something I'd share with anyone with any sense of pride. Only... one... more... extract... left...

A few of these are coming to Nashville. :)
Talk about nOOb jitters with a beer, check FG, check it again a month later, it's not moved, add priming sugar, add 1 gram wine yeast to make sure it carbs, pellicle forms in the bottle :o , is it ok! RBWHAHB, its just fine. 8 months is a long time to wait for a beer, oh wait, I have my Flanders that I brewed in January I haven't tasted yet.

Last night my boy and I finished off the last two bottles of my "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" imperial stout that I had made last year and stashed six bottles away for this Thanksgiving. Easily the best bee I've ever made and possibly ever drank. Hope the next batch comes out as good.

Me son and I have been drinking Nong Cider since Thursday. I made one small change which I'm sure the Nong will approve of. I used apple cider squeezed from my own apple tree. This stuff ROCKS!!! DAYUM this cider is good, thanks loads YD!

Poured a tester of my slightly modified Northern Brewer Nut Brown Ale. A few weeks premature, but the aroma and taste already exceed my expectations. I acquired the extract kit a few months ago when I took advantage of a "Groupon" to add a basic fermentation kit to my collection. You can never have too many fermentation vessels, right?! Since the investment was minimal, I took the opportunity to experiment a bit. I cold steeped the specialty grains. As with most any process in homebrewing, my research revealed a myriad of passionate opinions on the procedure. My personal results reveal that (at least with dark specialty grains), cold steeping brings great aroma, great flavour, and great colour to an extract brew with very minimal effort. I will definitely try this method again. Cheers!

I hate the Pils extract. POR city. I am not a fan of the Patriot either.

I'd drink anything Fantôme anytime.
