So, I'm at the mall for the first time in forever... on the weekend before Christmas... with apparently everyone else in town. But, the family wanted to do some Christmas shopping, so here I am. They are all off shopping, so...

... I'm going to just camp out at the Cheesecake Factory bar and keep out of the traffic. Award-winning Blackstone Adam Bomb IPA for me!

Last night was a disappointment, my sister had a party and there was a good quantity of beer - quantity not quality. Shocktop Belgian White, Corona Extra and Corona Light, some various BMCs, ... Had a Shocktop, Blue Moon tastes better. And several Corona. I will be introducing my sister to some of my homebrews, she lights "beer you can see through", she's really a wine drinker. #NextStopWillBeMomSheMayAppreciateHomebrewMore

Enjoying some Smutty Nose Brown Dog Ale. I also have some Sam Adams Cream Stout that I'll have at some point, and also some Accidental Altbier just to keep my own recipes in the rotation.

Another last pour. Maybe I should start a new thread. This aged well and I will miss it. Also watching the Green Bay game. Go Pack! Image

See, you can totally brew Belgian strong ales, Andrew! Waiting's not too hard when you brew other things to keep you busy :D

Introduced my sister to my home brew last night, she did not like Rick's Best Brown, or Mackinac Island Red. Did like Rick Slobbers All Over Brown Ale but the 5.5% ABV knocked her silly. Morning coffee on the dock.

2009 Père Noël from Brouwerij De Ranke while watching Christmas Vacation on Christmas Eve. Seems like a fine pairing...

Merry Christmas, all...

Drinking some of my home brewed Smooth Rye'd IPA, as well as some Elysian Mens Room Original Red, and Redhook Winterhook #30 at a ugly sweater party. Merry Christmas!
