It's a clone from Avery Brewery in Colorado. The 2 I've tasted from them are very, very good.

JJ's MPA, nice balance, starts out with a nice malty taste and finished nice between bitter and hop flavor. Now onto JJ and BD's RCE Winter Time Spiced Ale, this is very tasty perfect blend of flavors  .

Since it's -8 with the wind chill right now and it's going to get to -23 with the wind chill tonight, I thought I would go for one of JJ and my Winter Time spiced winter ale....but nope, not gonna do it. I'm going right for the bourbon, with NO ice!!!!

Cheers!!!

I'm still trying hard to kill the DuganA and Breakwater kegs and am doing very well with both.

Think it was about 80 today, at the least it was 76 so I had myself what I thought was going to be Cherry Wheat but ended up being BrewDemon IPA; nothing like procrastinating on marking bottle caps.

I treated myself to some Ommegang Rare Vos. Finished the last bottle last night. In my pipeline, I took a chance and chilled a couple bottles of my Great Scott 60/- ale. It's only been in the bottles two weeks, and while there's not much head to speak of, I don't think that's terribly inconsistent with the style. Great color and clarity, and a very pleasant, sweet malty flavor!

I will definitely make it again, and I'll go with Maris Otter rather than 2 row, according to Roger's recommendations.

Had a bottle of Howling Red Ale last night that was a Mr. Beer kit. Was brewed back in Aug. Sept. time frame, real mellow not and enjoyed it.

I'm drinking coffee this morning. But last night after an incredible dinner at a locally owned Italian bistro and a carafe of some fabulous Merlot LOML and I came home and I had a bottle of my "Heart Of The Country" Brown ale followed by a bottle of Mankato Brewery's "Crooked Rook" porter then topped it off with a bottle of my "Passage To India" IPA. After all of that I had...Well it's none of yours business what I had after that. :o

Hope all of you had a GREAT Valentine's Day too.

And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Enjoying the Icepocolypse with a Brett Brown. This bottle is much better than the one I brought to the Nashville tasting. Weird... My faith restored in this beer, though this may be the last (or second-to-last) bottle...
