Thanks for the info, this has got quite a few good reviews posted on their recipe page, looking forward to bottling and then drinking it later.

I bottled the 3 gallon Southern English style Brown Ale I made in the Mash & Boil. It tasted delicious.

Monday, brewed up a 5v'r of a pale ale. Today brewed up a 5v'r of hefeweizen. I'm either running really low on brewki, or crazy, or both. Monday was 38, today is 30 degrees out. Fingers did get a little chilly! I think next week I will do up 2 more, daily temps are supposed to be just as.... warm.... LOL

I bottled a Mush-Mouth Oatmeal Stout, a 5G recipe from Jasper's Homebrewing. I brewed a 1G version of this back in Mar 2016 and it was good so hopefully this will be also. One of my co-workers has a Gluten intolerance so he can't drink normal beer, eat bread, etc.. Anyhow, I remembered that one of the vendors has a 1G Gluten Free Amber Ale recipe so I talked to him about it, he thought it sounded good so I ordered and brewed that today. It substitutes Sorghum for the Barley malt and of course has no steeping grains. It also came with some Belgian Amber Candi Sugar to add in the last 5 min of the boil.

Today I brewed the 15-minute boil Simcoe Red-X Wheat beer experiment I've been thinking about for a while.
Time will tell...

WOOHOO!!!! Brewed Saturday first time since the end of June, have a 3.25 gallon induction brewpot I won at LHBC meeting 2 months ago, since I am still limited by the surgeon to nothing more than 5 lbs till end of September, I was able to do a small 2 gallon batch inside and electric and fill the pot w/o lifting or moving and dumped right into mash cooler from countertop, for April meeting (Adjunct Fest), Amber Ale, 3 lbs 2 row, 1 lb Victory, 6 oz carapils and a 12.5 oz box of Special K cereal in the mash, 1/4 oz Nugget @ 40, used US-05 yeast, even broke out the old Mr Beer LBK to ferment in!!! Sure did miss the smell of the mash and the boil!

I Brewed a 5G Extract w/steeping grains recipe called Fresh Squeezed IPA from Midwest Supplies. Made the house smell real good with all the hops, 1 oz of Nugget, 2 oz Mosaic, and 1 oz of Citra. Still got 1 oz of Citra and 1 oz of Mosaic to dry hop it in a couple weeks.

I bottled the 3 gallon extract SMaSH Strata Hop IPA, where I threw hops in 1oz @10, 1oz @5, and 2oz @flameout/30 minute hopstand.

So, what I can say is that if you wanted to bring a beer to a NORMAL (legalize it) event... this would be it.

I bottled the Old Smokey Amber Ale today. Bottled the South Ferry Steam Beer last week. Both of these are going to competition May 19, so here's hoping they turned out well.

Put a 2.5g batch of PacTiki Pale Ale to bed today. Good numbers, and good volume. No waste.
