Had a Michigan Red, then some Reserve Black Ale from Dark Horse Brewery at a restaurant, the youngest bought dinner for Mother's Day. #SoonToBeTrulyEmptyNest

Quarry Brewing Gneiss IPA, pronounced 'nice'. Double thumbs up, this is tastier than nice!

Popped open my growler of Buckshot amber ale from Natty Greene's.

Steamed Nelson, which is also really nice.

Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter IPA....pretty damn good, but, it gets a little wierdness on the aroma as it warms up. It's a weird mix of the pine and dankness.

AND.....a Fruit Salad!!!!

I found that Hop Hunter to be a bit odd. It was really oily/resiny for me and I didn't really care much for it.

Everyone's tastes are different - I like that stuff. But I like dank piney/earthy beers (100% Apollo hop beer that literally had lupulin colored floating hop "oil slick" when I dumped it into the fermenter tasted awesome to me). I liked it a lot more then I liked the last Enjoy By I tried.

EDIT: I'm drinking my Kilt Skiers Bier de Mars, which is earthy and spicy with some citrus/tartness.

I've spent the past three days in Yellowstone Park, viewing the magnificent natural wonders there. Now that I am back in the world of decent cell phone coverage I thought I would list some of the NW beers I have been sampling this week:

Bridger Brewing Vigilante IPA & Antilogy Black IPA
Blackfoot River Brewing Single Malt IPA

Nice! I'll be back there for the 3rd time in about 4 weeks myself. I'm looking forward to disconnecting completely.

Yellowstone was great! We are driving back home at a leisurely pace. Spent the afternoon at No-Li Brewing in Spokane, WA. Drank some pints of:
Jet Star Imperial IPA, Poser, & now we are at a hotel drinking some 20oz glasses of Born & Raised IPA

Also very cool, I love Spokane! And on our sweep through there last year, No-Li was the best brewery I recall hitting.

No-Li was excellent. I will also put a vote in for Bridger Brewing in Missoula, MT as a close second place.

A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale by Lagunitas Brewing Company. Son brought 2 bottles home from college. Yuck!
