My name is Paul and I'm a brewaholic!

Take a minute to introduce yourself to the Borg and tell us what's brewing. You can ask questions here too!

Yea there's something to that 'sibling brewers' thing now, eh?

And to answer your earlier question, while I do drink red ales (I'll drink almost anything, eve beer-lord's stuff) I mostly like hoppy brews followed by chewy stouts. But for a change of pace I enjoy some german styles now and then.

But I have SOOOOOOO much to learn.

I'm not embarrassed to admit that I've seen every Star Trek show and movie every made though I'm not really a Trekkie. However, I've been assimilated and will comply.

Chris, please don't beer-flirt with my twin. I'm not big on sharing friends with him (though he's been lucky enough to taste a few of your beers).
It's like feeding the animals at the zoo. Before you know it, the elephant will be living in your back yard. How do ducks get along with elephants?

Truthfully it's not the one I had imagined but it came down to this one, the one you suggested and one other. I really was looking for a beer glass with a red beard but only saw a pabst blue ribbon can with a grey beard. The last time I had a PBR was........well let's just say I was a beer virgin :jumpy:

Elephants and Ducks do just fine together. If the elephant gets out of hand, the duck either flies away or lands on his head and takes a big dump!!!!

So, how does that not qualify you as NOT a Trekkie? Something had to grab you.
Myself, I haven't watch every Star Trek movie, but my family and friends would say,
"Yeah, he's a trekkie!" :laugh
The Original Series and The Next Generation, to me, were the highlights of this genre!
Quality story telling!
My formative years, I guess!

Most Trekkies know EVERYTHING about Star Trek like the names of all the Klingon's, the order of episodes and so on. I don't know any of that. I don't have posters of 7 of 9 in my room (though if I were 15, I would) or do I go to conventions.
I'm just a big fan but I couldn't pass for a Trekkie if I wanted to.

I've seen every episode of the original show many times, and watched many of the subsequent series although some of them (Deep Space Nine for example) I lost interest in early on. I've seen every movie, and was in line for first one (cough, cough) late in the evening when it opened. I can't name characters, or remember episode names, but I do enjoy it.

And If Jeri wanted to come to my bedroom SWMBO and I would have to discuss that...
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

I can't tell the episode names in order, or the Klingon names by heart, BUT if I see the opening of the episode, then It comes to me! I've been looking at this stuff since 1967? I guess! After The Next Generation though, I'm not really up to date.

7 of 9 was invented to grab the 15 yr old's they were losing to video games at the time! Kinda like the new WWE thing!
And if Jeri agreed to come to my bedroom,
Hmmm... :muahaha:!
