Considering what an incredible success "Hands Across America" was approx 27 years ago in eliminating hunger and homelessness in the USA, isn't it time someone got going on "Hands Across the Middle East" in an attempt to bring peace to the troubled region?

I envision Palestinians, Jews, Iraqi's, UN peacekeepers and recently released hostages all standing together, holding hands and singing a really catchy theme song... how could this not bring about the kind of "feel good" spirit, that quite frankly, has been missing from the Middle East since, oh, say, 1200 BC?

If you could only take one 45 rpm song to a desert island, would you take "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Boomtown Rats or "Sometimes When We Touch" by Dan Hill?

Apparently "Dwarf Tossing" may be reinstated to the Olympics as a demonstration sport... the only question, should it be in the Winter Games or the Summer Games?
