I'm not in any of the pictures. I was takin' 'em. Besides, Ed and Will were happy to do the work, and they were the best men for the job. I always like to see experts at work, and these two worked together like they could read each others' minds.
I got the whole batch of pictures loaded to PhotoBukkit, so I'll try resizing them, as Screwy suggested, and see if I can upload.
Don't stand on one leg, though....

I know it's my feeble non-computer brain that can't figure this out, but there's also the fact that technology is my enemy and refuses to do the simplest things I want. I will load the rest of my pics from the build from my phone to PhotoBucket, and post links, because even when I follow directions, computers screw me over. Sorry.

Here ya' go Dave...
See?
SEE??!! He could do this in no time, but me? I consider it a victory that I managed to send the pics from my phone to my email, download them to my laptop, and then get them to Photobucket. I haven't even attempted to resize them and post the actual pictures yet.

If I can do this, so can you.
I see Duncan's scratching post on the floor.

Oh, yeah, that was me last summer, getting ready to go to SWMBO's cousin's wedding. I thought you meant the keezer pictures. Well, at least this shows I actually do have hair.

Okay, I've tried resizing and posting the pics and I can't. I just can't. I'm about ready to commit mayhem. I give up.
Click on the link, and apparently, you'll be able to view every picture I've ever put in my Photobucket account. Because this is the last time I'm going to try uploading and posting photos. Technology hates me, and I hate it, and I concede. You win, internet. You win, computer. I'm done.
Dave out.

Finally figured the damn thing out. Still hate this whole thing, though. Makes me feel stupid, especially when people who actually understand it tell me, "No, it's easy." Anything - ANYTHING - is easy if you know how to do it. Landing a plane is easy if you know how to do it, but if a pilot plunked you into the cockpit and said, "Land this; it's easy", you'd poop your pants, cry like a baby, and beg for help. Yes, technology is my enemy, but I win this round.
Anyway, this is Ed sanding the finished collar.
Aaaaaaand....I made the image too small.
You win again, Technology.

There. The originals actually work.
Eff you, Internet. I'm learning.

L-Brackets on the inner collar.
Inner collar 3/4 done.
Cutting the facing.
Installing weather stripping.
Ed sanding the finished collar.
First coat of stain.

Ed's promised to come by this afternoon (after the Patriots game, I assume) to drill the holes for the shanks/taps and put on another finish coat. Then it's just a matter of letting the veneer dry, getting the assembly done, and screwing the lid on, and I'm good to go. I'll post pics (now that I know how) once I get the final assembly done.

Drilling the first tap hole.
Just to give you an idea....
Applying a final seal coat.
So I'll let this dry for a couple days, give it a light sanding, just to smooth out the finish, and then I'll be putting the lid on and getting the system set up. Gonna keg my flagship beer, FedoraDave's American Ale next Saturday! I'm pretty excited about it.

Give Ed a big Borg handshake, pat on the back and the First Pour. His skills are worth it.

Yeah, he and I are both looking forward to the first tap. I could have done this build myself, but Ed has better tools, and better skills, too. He did in one hour what would have taken me half a day.

Dave, you and I sound a lot alike. Poor computer skills and no matter how many times I cut a piece of wood, IT'S STILL TOO SHORT.
