Sam's been busy getting ready for a consumer goods show in Chicago this weekend but he contacted me the other day and told me that the Big Demon should be available on the website and ready to start shipping in April. Here's a pic he sent me. You can kind of see how it compares in size to the Little Demon fermenter.

They do look pretty cool. Unfortunately, it looks difficult to move around. I cold crash mine, so if it had handles to lift it up and move it into the fridge it would be awesome.

So the whole idea of the spigot being above the trub looks out the window on the bigger model, and as Blackduck noted, no handles. And clear (as are the new Mr. Beer fermenters, although they are opaque) .

The picture and the video are not of the final product. There will be a spigot on the final version and there will be 2 color options, which most likely will be clear and amber.

Whew, I looked at the bottom dump spigot and thought the same thing so thanks for clarifying Leigh.

I agree possibly some harness or way of locking the conical to the base would be a good idea. I do not cold crash but do ferment on the ground in my chamber and if the base and conical are not attached even moving up to the table would be a bit of a chore (at least for me).

This is the striped down base unit without any of the bells and whistles (dump plumbing). This base unit with the base it’s approx. 24.5” x 14”

Nice! Does that height include the airlock?

I believe that the air lock is not included in that measurement.
