I saw that on twitter as well. They still are saying late 2016 too. I hope that is the case.

Yup....they announced last week they are on schedule for August of 2016!!!

That is moving along quick, I'm sure the mild late fall and mild early winter weather benefited construction efforts!

BrewDog published an update yesterday on their progress. And their investment opportunity, Equity for Punks, opened up today.

Yesterday was BrewDogs annual Equity For Punks Annual General Mayhem. They opened up their new facility to investors. It was a short presentation by owner James Watt followed by a big party. Plenty of beer on hand and a number of different bands taking the stage. Right now, the building is empty. They are waiting on their equipment to finish the journey from Germany. Their time line to open the restaurant and tap room and run their first test batches is January/February next year.

Plenty of beer to choose from. Their were also a number of other craft breweries serving too.

That sure sounds like a great day!

Martin was in Scotland, his wife is pregnant and due anytime. It was a good time for sure. It's a HUGE facility, and will be awesome when it finally opens up.

Anyone investing should make sure they understand the very high risk associated with a security that is not publicly traded. There is no market to sell your shares.

They seem to be 5 to 6 months behind schedule by my reading, confirmed in articles.

The minimum investment of $95 could "pay off" if you got enough discounted beer or discounted merchandise. The $47.50 per share "value" is made up, not based on the value of the company, profits, etc.

Interesting though. Articles note discrepancies in their financials.

I don't think anyone is going to put their life savings into brewery stock.....I believe this is more as a "token" share buy that allows people.....those enjoying brewing.......to buy in to, be a part of, etc a new and growing brewery.

Any yea, surely most construction projects will be behind in scheduling........I do scheduling for a living (last 34 years) and I can SELDOM remember a time where a schedule wasn't derailed by weather, acts of God etc. This is just normal.

Lastly, I'm sure Brewdog's would be happy to have a few thousand folks who own just ONE share who may feel more inclined to stick with them when buying beers......then everyone wins in the long run.

Basically they are crowd sourcing the funding of the new brewery. A lot of places do that. Think of it as a Brew Dog Mug Club.
