Vince, since we pretty much go out during the day touring around, we usually shared homebrew in the late aftenoon/evenings. Mostly we shared beers instead of having a full bottle of everyone's beer and Steve was gracious enough to bring kegs though I'm not sure how much of a dent we put in them but they were tasty!
I plan to bring (well, ship to Jeff and he lugs them up for me for a steal!) a few bottles of one or two beers so everyone can have a sip and RedBEERd brewed a porter that he bottled just this weekend that will be fresh and make it's way there as well.
Just know that many who drove went home with more beer than they brought.

And that is the advantage of driving!!!Beer-lord wrote:Just know that many who drove went home with more beer than they brought.
I'm bringing a couple bombers of three different homebrews, a couple 16 oz cans of 4 or 5 different sours, and a handful of other commercial beers that most of you guys may not be able to get.

Haha, thanks for sharing that with me. Too much beer is never a problem. I plan to bring some Brown Ale and Pineapple Ale. Good to know we won't run out!Beer-lord wrote:Vince, since we pretty much go out during the day touring around, we usually shared homebrew in the late aftenoon/evenings. I'm looking forward to trying the pineapple ale. If we run out of beer, none of us are invited back next year.

Run out of beer? the last 2 years you guys ran out of SPACE in your cars to take the beer back. Either we bought way too much or didn't drink enough. Or a little of both.BlackDuck wrote:I'm looking forward to trying the pineapple ale. If we run out of beer, none of us are invited back next year.

I think we'll learn better this year.

Getting close fellers!!! Next week I will be hunting down that perfect hunk of brisket for the Big Game Feast and give it that good long nap in the smoker next Saturday or Sunday, get things packed up and be in Asheville on 2/1 waiting for all y'all to show!

The route down is mapped out and I will be bottling some beers for the road trip to Asheville, the excitement continues to build. I am also trying to drop a few pounds before I get there as part of the preparation.
