Update

Dad was int the hospital for 7 weeks, they went to put a pacemaker in and he cardiac-ed. clinically dead for 2 minutes. Amazingly enough a full recovery. last week was wild. We got custody of my great nephew, and my dad came home at the same time. I feel like I am taking care of 2 10 year olds. I am only able to work a little these days, and only from home. Now I am taking care of dad, remodeling my house to accommodate 4 people in 900 square foot house. I am hoping to brew this weekend. Sure miss being on here

Dad is doing much better, still a lot of looking after him. My nephew got full custody of his son with no visitation rights for the mother. :) I want to try and brew tomorrow. Life is getting a little easier, But I am getting a little tired of going to work at 10 at night and stopping at 2. Then getting up at 7 to get JR to school. Never thought at 48 in 2 days my life would change so much. I went from hey I can do whatever/ whenever I want to it feels nice to be out in public when I go to the grocery store for my dad.

Of course changes happen with the speed of a thunder clap. It can take us a couple of minutes or a couple of years to figure that out.
Best of luck going forward Whamo.

Good news all around, Whamo.

You deserve a brew day, if you can manage it. When my job was frantic and prone to driving me nuts, I cherished my Sunday brew days. I always maintained (and still do) that it's more than my hobby; it's my therapy.

I hope you can get some of that therapy, too. It seems like you could really use it.
