I would think you would be fine with that. I think those are the measurements on my beer lines too. I do have to ask though...are you using all 25 feet of it for you lines? I'm running 10 feet with no change in height from the keg to the tap. I use picnic taps and they just rest right on top of the kegs.

Was cheaper to buy the 25. Don't intend to use it all for these 2 lines. Was guessing 8-10 per line.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason not to use food grade silicon tubing instead of vinyl stuff (except for higher cost)?
I'd think the food grade silicon stuff would not degrade or pick up or put off any flavors or unwanted stuff and be more resistant to critter build up and just plain last longer.
But I might be nuts...

That's precisely what i'm asking. Is there a recommendation for something else instead of this? What do you all use for beer line?

Shortly after I got my kegerator I switched to a 3 tower tap and Accuflex line. It's not easy to work with, you need more line than normal hose and it's not cheap but its the last hose I will ever have to buy.
This tubing is a favorite among the homebrewing and kegging crowds for its ability to inhibit taste and odor permeation.
From the manufacturer: Unsurpassed oxygen and flavor protection combined with flushability in a co-extruded tube.
Flushable Glas-Flex™ liner - allows changeovers from even the most pungent flavors with simple flushing procedures.
NSF-Certified products - certified under standard NSF-51 for food equipment and NSF-61 for drinking water systems.
Dual-Barrier construction - flushable Glas-Flex™ inner liner surrounded by a seamless extruded barrier layer in a coextruded polyolefin tube.
This is a semi-rigid tubing. The easiest way to install this tubing on the end of a beer shank is by using Birdman Brewing part ACCU-SHANK. To install on an MFL threaded keg disconnect, use Birdman Brewing part ACCU-MFL.

Works great with the Guest connectors.

That's definitely the angle I intend to go once I move to installed taps. I don't think it works very well for a picnic tap situation (at least that's what I read).

[vent]And....... I'm still waiting for the Taprite regulator. Ordered on Amazon on the 11th, but missed that it wasn't a Prime. Still free ship, but said it could be from 1/17-1/23. Oh well, don't really need it right away, and the owner of the storefront says in their writeup they ship within two days (and they have 97% positive ratings), so no worries. FF to now though and it's still marked at Fedex as label printed but not received from the seller. Seller says they sent to Fedex, but will check on it. This is apparently also not covered by Amazon A-to-Z, so I can't get Amazon to just refund it (side note... I have no idea where that is listed on the item... would have definitely been a red flag). Hmm. So now I wait to hear back from the seller. To their credit, they called within hours of my query of them, so that and their good reviews give me hope. Really was thinking I would need it by February, so not a crisis yet, but I may just order another one if it takes more than a few days. [/vent]

And another reason I very seldom buy things from Amazon or E-bay, Yes can sometimes save some Money, but wonder if worth the hassle in the long run. Wife gets stuff there all the time but says I should be getting a package today and might be a week later. I ordered a Taprite reg. from Morebeer on Monday the 14th and got it Wednesday morning the 16th. Maybe paid more but free shipping and I just got a single, but I got it fast. Going to stack more later on anyways.

We buy from Amazon a lot and rarely see any delays like this. I realized after I ordered that I accidentially selected the not-Prime version. The Prime version was maybe $1 different but two day ship. Wish I had paid closer attention. They now say it will be here by the 29th. If not then, I'll just grab one from the LHBS or order the Prime one (I wanted to support them, but the LHBS was like $40 higher for the same one).
On a happier note, efficiency was off the charts for this brew day. 1.068 when expected 1.056. It's been happily bubbling away all week. Fermentation area is a bit chilly, but with the heat belt, I've maintained ambient 55-60 in there. The stick-on thermometer bit the dust on this fermenter, so don't have a perfect reading, but based on the airlock, it seems like I'm in great shape.

But I might be nuts...
The main reason is for balancing the system, where you can serve and carbonate at the same pressures without an over abundance of foam, the beer hose is designed to not flex (tendency to balloon) when pressure is applied. Most common tubing size is 1/4" ID and 7/16" OD. I am around 8' with my 3 tap kegerator.

Regarding the Amazon order, you can cancel it and rebuy it from a different seller. At least, I think you can. Also, I’d be sure to leave a seller review, just to note the slow shipping. If you contact AMZ, they’ll help you, A to Z claim or not. They always side with the customer over the seller.

The shipment has magically reached Fedex and is on a truck now, arriving here on Monday. Woot!

Waiting for a up-date. I already know you will like this.
