Found a great house and closed 3 weeks ago. It's perfect for our family and has some nice extras. Best part is I have a 2.5 car heated finished garage. I have access to both gas and water inside the garage which will come in handy with brewing and possible future upgrades. I spent a few nights painting the inside of the garage so it will be a very nice clean space to use. I need to get things organized and put away and soon I should be able to get brewing. Once I do I need to set up my beer fridge with my taps and new lines. Getting closer and closer each day. I just can't believe how long I have gone without brewing. It was before Thanksgiving that I last brewed. I need to think of what to brew and knock the dust off.

Time flies but it does sound like a nice upgrade for you. Seems you found a near dream house. Good on ya!

It really is. We had this land in our laps and we feel pretty blessed. We have worked hard to get to this point but yes certainly a great step up. It could be a "forever" home since my sons will be on their own within 10 yrs or so.
I am leaning towards a nice simple Pale Ale to get back in the groove, but my wife will want to enjoy some of that first batch out of the new house so might have to think of something else. She likes Darker Beers (Porters and Stouts) and lighter beers like Lagers and Kolsch, does not like hops. Either way, can't wait to get back to it and pour some pints. Hmm, I could do a double brew day to kick things off.
