SMaSH Simcoe IPA; simple & delicious! Pale malt, Simcoe hops at beginning of boil, aroma addition while wort is cooling, then a dry hop after 7 days of fermentation. California dry yeast; this one rocks, won't last long!

Enjoying a Blanche de Namur from Brasserie Du Bocq. The corner liqueur store carries it. Very nice when you feel like something different.

I'm a heretic, as in I'm drinking my Sterling BPA on IPA day. But I did order enough stuff to make some Pliney. If that makes it better.

My Lemon Saison....wow, what a difference a week makes. Saison's are still not my beer but this one is definitely a thirst quencher. I don't want 4 in a row but it's International Beer Day and I'm gonna have a number of beers because I deserve it after spending $800 on car repairs on my son's car.
It's clearer than the photo but I doubt it will ever be truly clear. It's also not as auburn as the photo and is more towards the lemony-yellow direction. Dammit Jim, I'm a homebrewer, not a freakin photographer.
Cheers!

I don't drink a lot of saisons, but I don't think of them as being clear by style. And in fact, by BJCP guidelines:
Clarity is poor to good though haze is not unexpected in this type of unfiltered farmhouse beer.

I haven't decided what I'm drinking tonight. Still too early.

Rhinegeist Mosaic. One of 3 bombers I scored while it was still in production. 1 left for a special occasion. It's wonderful.

Alb, don't you just love Rhinegeist? I sure do. If you can find a bomber of their Glow. Buy it. It's a single hop pale ale with Huell Melon hops and it is so good.
