Glad to hear it. You both get some rest and let mama know people are thinking of her.

The last of Rectum RyePA. I'm so very pleased with this one and wouldn't change much at all. It's everything I want in a rye.

Tried a Green Flash Soul IPA with Citra, simcoa and Cascade hops but was majorly underwhelmed. No aroma and with those hops, it should have a good citrusy, flowery taste....nope, just bitter. I like hops but I need more than just bitter.

Really disappointed.

But I followed it up with a Ghost so i win. And the wife had a Sierra Nevada Porter which was VERY good.

I made a HME from Cooper's called an English Bitter. I added 8oz Carla pils and 1lb very light DME. Not as bad as I expected. Actually pretty good compared to an CAL or a MrB Cerveza.

Enjoying a Hop Rocketed Pale Ale 8-Bit by Tall Grass Brewing Company. It has AU Galaxy hops in it. Pretty good beer, the hop flavors pop as it warms.

I had the exact same response to that beer. I really wanted it to be good...but it wasn't.

And I'll you what I'm not drinking....my Levitation. The keg kicked after a 3oz pour tonight.
I now have nothing on tap nor fermenting!

I have about 10 bottles of my Kama Citra in the fridge and then no more homebrew. I need to get brewing ASAP but I also see a post in the mixer sixer thread coming soon.

Dude, where are your priorities? Get rid of that busy, social life you have and all that vacation stuff and brew some. Don't make the Borg pay you a visit and re-assimilate you.

Drinking a Soulless Scarlet Sour Ale, Flanders style, by Rivertown Brewery. A touch too much chocolate comes through. I personally love the Flanders style but this one misses the mark slightly. I enjoy it but not enough of those dark cherry notes come through.

I found the name of that beer to be totally on target... Soulless. It's ok, but ehh.... I agree it's missing something. I love Flanders as well, and was pretty pumped to get a $2 per bottle Flanders option. I do, however, like Divergent, their Berliner...

As to what I'm drinking... The doctor said to alternate the oxy with liquids... so...

Oh, ok... Kolsch for me, and oxy for the patient. I guess it's time to go make more ice packs...
