It was awesome. It wasn't a single hop, though. It used Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Mandarina. If I find this in bottles/cans it is coming home!

I think this helps reinforce the thinking on my pale ale recipe, too!

I hate to admit this but I have been really enjoying some tasty pale ales though many of mine are on the upper end but I find myself making more and more of them and just adding a ton of late addition hops/dry hops.
I've made 3 to 1 pales to IPA's in the last few months so don't forget this as it gets colder and I make some heavy IPA's.

And, I don't care how many new hops you throw at me, I'm getting my stash down before I buy more. It's what I've learned in my HHH meetings.

If your wondering why there is no bottle opener in the picture, I used my wedding ring. Titanium is great, plus I can recap the bottle. Image

I keep telling myself that I'm going to buy one of those glasses. I wonder when I will.

When you realize that it does this to IPAs.

First pour of Hippity Hoppity Pale/Amber Ale-Pretty much what I wanted and compared to 3 days ago, so much better.
Hints of orange and grapefruit. Only thing missing is more aroma.

Yeah, Kealia, I would get the IPA glass. I thought it was all marketing, but then Neil set me up with a Yazoo IPA in a normal shaker and another in the IPA glass. World of difference. Was shocked. Especially later in the glass, when things have warmed and the head has settled in the shaker, the IPA glass is set up to shake everything up to get more aroma and head going. Also, the super-thin glassware just feels better, IMHO.

Oh, what am I drinking? Broke the o-fest seal a few days early. Decided to go classic to start...

Wish they had that when BB2 and I were in the bottle shop we may have to plan a return sooner than expected. :)

That lacing is art.
