Our club brewed a club beer for Michigan Homebrew Festival. We are making a Strawberry Milkshake IPA and I racked it onto 3 oz of Cascade, 1.5 lbs or lactose and 6 lbs of strawberries. We shall see how this turns out.

Hey Beer-lord...how did ur Brew day go today? Hopefully no heat stroke [emoji3062].
The Lemony Sippet came out pretty good. Very drinkable and not overpowering. Great for this hot weather. I had Brewstock/Oliver scale the recipe down to 3 gallons. I did a BIAB. All the numbers came out very close. ABV 4.98 %. Fermented 3 weeks and bottle conditioned 4 weeks.
(Thanx Herb for helping with the dry hop instructions). (First time I dry hopped).

I think I have seen this recipe on their site before. Where did you get the Lemongrass? Fresh? It looks very refreshing.
My brew day was fine. Got it all done before the rains came. It's fermenting away as I type this.

Glad everything went well on Brew-day. The Brew Gods were looking down upon you.
The Lemon grass was dry and in a package that I bought from them.

Those Lemon Drop hops did most of the work (I guess) judging from the smell and aroma I got upon opening them.
I used the London Fog yeast for this batch.
I was pleasantly surprised how it turned out. I still have around 28 bottles still boxed up waiting to chill.
Cheers [emoji1635]

Ha! I've seen this on MoreBeer. I bet it really sells. Gets pretty good ratings.

We we all talking about watching Breaking Bad on here one night awhile back and Mash told of this kit and not a bad price for the ingredients, so I thought would try and see. Smells good. I mixed the blue rock candy into boiling wort to desolve.

I noticed it's supposed to add some raspberry flavor, wonder if it will turn the final beer blue?

No I don't think so, only 2 oz. it did turn the 2 cups a little blue/green but not after I added it back to the 6G boil.

Won’t know for sure until a few weeks but 1044 with 9 lbs grain. Heisenberg would be a great name and label for a beer.
