FULL DISCLOSURE:

I'm not a country music fan but i'm a CLOSET country music fan. I Absolutely LOVED Walk the Line (I think that was the name of the movie). And I do like Big and rich and Toby Keith (more for what they stand for than their music) but this was awesome video. and I still can't wait for next fri....like a kid during Christmas.......

And I want to soak all this learning and knowledge in. You boys have so much to teach me........I'm just a 'young grasshopper'

The fact that you're a country music fan BETTER BE THE ONLY THING about you that is in the closet!!!!

Full twin disclosure....I'm not a country fan, I like heavy chorded rock music but I would accept Faith Hill.
And I can confirm my twin is a lesbian. He really does love his wife but why she loves him has been in discussion for many years.

I take no responsibility for my brother if he cries after drinking too many beers. But if it does happen, there's youtube.

I'm far from a country music fan, but I absolutely love going to see songwriter nights around town, and also enjoy the honky tonks. I've had a couple dear friends in the industry, and it's quite an interesting business. Nashville, though, is far from just country music. Among others, BB King has great jazz/blues, Margaritaville has a wide range of pop/rock/alt, and the National Underground is a great rock music venue that is also a great craft beer/burger joint (though their hot chicken is a bit lacking). I love the downtown entertainment district. 20+ music venues, a few good beer options, some good dining, fun people watching, fun busking performers, etc.

I can see your point and I do simply appreciate music but even music I don't like, I can appreciate the musicians. I'm not very good but playing guitar and dabbling with both mandolin and banjo, I understand what it takes to play good music. So, like beer that may not be my style, I can still appreciate it for what it is.

Oh crap, I almost spit beer all over my iPad.
Why do I envision this get together like being like a grade school field trip, but with adults.

You should have lived in our house growing up. 4 boys and 1 girl. Good times we still laugh and talk about. But about that pillow talk.....well, we can talk about old times face to face and just watch where you spit your beer.

Either that or making excuses to get the hell out of Dodge.
Does Jeff wear Kilts to bed? Just want to make sure my eyes are covered when it's bedtime.

The ONLY good thing about Ron not going to Nashville is that I get my own room......and don't have to worry about sleeping with cats or kilts :)

Listen guys, you should know...I have no class, I'm old, fat, bald and I like to drink beer and eat tasty food. I like women, chocolate and beer.

And I like to laugh, have a good time and hope I live long enough to do 10 Nashville's with all of the borg.

I think we need a live cam feed to the borg on this Nashville excursion. It prolly should have a fade out feature for Jeff though, but otherwise it would be fun seeing all you guys drinking some beers together. :clink:

OH I forgot to add...swen......a coworker recently went to Nashville and told me that every dive, bar, club etc has AWESOME unknown musician's......much like Memphis, New Orleans, NY etc and that we should go to a few he named, but I forget right now. All old, named spots on Broadway and/or main st....or something. I'm sure you know them well.

My wife and I went to BB Kings quite some time ago while she was at Vandy. We had a great time. Great music and the place was full of people of all ages, races, and nationalities. Everyone was there just to watch good music and have a few drinks. We had a great time.
